MATERIAL HANDLING

Material Handling

Material handling is lifting, carrying or movement, protection, storage, and control of materials, products, or things throughout manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, and disposal work activities. As a process, material handling incorporates a wide range of manual, semi-automated, and automated equipment and systems.

Manual material handling can be done Manually by man OR Mechanically means like lift trucks, conveyors, or cranes and hoists.

In order to overcome the higher risk outcomes of manual material handling i.e. from musculoskeletal disorders & to have a safe movement of materials with the help of lifting devices, we provide the following trainings:

  1.  EOT Operator Training
  2.  Hydra Operator Training
  3.  Forklift operation Training
  4.  Rigging operation Training
  5.  Overhead cranes
  6.  Ergonomics Study & training
  7.  Protective guarding

Objectives of a proper material handling system:

  1.  Improved & Safe Working conditions
  2.  Increased capacity/productivity
  3.  Improved customer service
  4.  Cost Reduction
  5.  Reduction in material handling labor and damages to materials

EOT Operator Training

EOT Operator Training

Mostly, Crane accidents are caused by human error and crane operator training is the key to prevent such accidents/incidents. Our training helps improve safety and productivity while reducing maintenance costs.

While there are many different types of cranes, they all have the ability to make many jobs much easier by lifting enormous weight. But, they also share the potential for emergencies when they are not operated safely. Crane-related accidents can often be deadly, due to the heavy loads that are lifted. A small miscalculation or a brief moment of inattention, and tragedy could strike.

Crane Operator Training is designed for crane operators and the concerned supervisory personnel responsible for the daily operation and safe performance of cranes. Our training gives participants the working knowledge to assist in reducing operator errors that may lead to unnecessary downtime, safe operation of EOT, daily safety checklist, etc. thereby reducing the unsafe conditions.

Forklift Operation Training

Forklift Operation

We aim at describing the hazards of forklift truck operations and the control methods necessary to reduce and prevent near miss, incidents and accidents.

Operating a forklift takes Skill, Mechanical Knowledge, and Knowledge of Workplace hazards and we help to achieve the same through our training program.

Training Objectives:

At the end of our training, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the causes of typical accidents involving forklift
  2. Describe the basic safety rules to be followed when using forklift trucks
  3. Help protect thee employees, equipment materials
  4. Describe the requirements for forklift truck maintenance inspection

Our training comprised of intensive classroom instruction, including discussion and a written test, as well as hands-on practical training and evaluation. Upon successful completion of the course, The operator will be presented with a certificate as proof of training.

Hydra Operator Training

Hydra Operator

The purpose of the Hydra Crane Operator Training Program is to define the work practices and the inspection procedures to help ensure that the operators of the Hydra & nearby personnel are protected from potential hazards associated with the movement of equipment and material.

Our training ensures workers have the training and knowledge required to safely operate cranes specific to your workplace. Programs include a comprehensive in-class session followed by individual operator testing on-site at your facility.

Programs incorporate the use of custom-designed models and visual aids which help to enhance interest and facilitate a higher comprehension level for partici

Rigging Operation

Rigging Operation

Rigging – when workers prepare equipment to be lifted by cranes, hoists or other material-handling machinery – is a common work process on shipyard and construction sites. Performing rigging operations safely is critical.

An unstable load, a misinterpreted hand signal, lack of experience, lack of maintenance, and infrequent inspections can all cause incidents that can injure or kill workers. The cause of rigging accidents can often be traced to a lack of knowledge on the part of a rigger.

For employee performing rigging operations, it’s important for them to understand their roles, the hazards associated with and proper procedures for inspecting and maintaining their equipment.

Training programs for Hoisting and Rigging provide workers with a basic knowledge of principles relating to safe hoisting and rigging practices in the industries.
